Well, I've had tons of pronunciations of my name.
I get KAIdel, Kuhdel, Kedel, Kaitlin, etc.
It's KAYdel, with an A sound. I don't understand how its so hard for people to call me that...
XD It's pretty bad that I've gotten to the point of just answering to what people call me. At school I'm mostly known as KAIdel.

Am I Wapanese?

I just read an article about the term Wapanese. I watch anime on occasion, I've gone to an anime convention, and I like Japanese culture. I don't personally believe that Japanese culture is any better than any other culture in the world. Since I've loved ASIA since I was around the age of 4, does that make me Wapanese? I don't like Japan more than I do Taiwan or South Korea. The Asian people at my school, I don't know many of them, but a lot of them I'm very fascinated with. I don't know why, though.

Something I don't understand about those who are Wapanese is the fact that they assume that someone who is Japanese will like anime, when that is actually not true. I don't think that many Japanese really like anime, seeing as the term 'otaku' is derogatory in Japan. I've never been to Japan so I really don't know a whole lot about the culture, except from that which I've read.

I personally cannot stand these people though. Many of these people BELIEVE that they know so much about Japan, when they really don't know a thing at all. They constantly call people -chan, or -san, and listen to nothing but hard Japanese rock, and have never seen an asian drama in their life.

I personally know someone that made me almost completely stop liking Japan. She was constantly researching people such as HYDE and Dir En Grey, etc. She still does nothing but constantly tell me stuff that I already knew. I don't want to hear it again. She claims to have gotten me into Japan by watching InuYasha, which is a complete lie anyway. I never even liked InuYasha. By her quoting all of this stuff about HYDE to me, I felt like HYDE had been in a way, taken away from me, though of course there are MILLIONS of other fans of him; it was just not right in the way that she was presenting it to me.

Anyway, I guess that's enough for this blog post... I don't really know what else to type. I feel like I'm sort of rambling.

The Jonas Brothers. OMG. I saw them in concert today. I love Kevin Jonas <3! He's amazing! (Of course, not as amazing as Leehom, but pretty close lol) Pretty much, you're crazy if you don't like the Jonas Brothers, same with Leehom. Lol, I don't see how anyone could not like them. I think I'm going to go download some of their music now. (And then I have to get a stupid shower, lol.) Alright.... I guess that's about it for now.

Internet Radio

So, today I found out about Internet Radio, and I absoulutely love listening to Pop Goes Asia. (I also like listening to some American stuff, but not as much as I like listening to this station; it gives me an idea of what kind of music I want to listen to.) Its mostly playing Chinese stuff right now which is really good, cos then I can expand my collection more than I have it right now.
I have an oral Japanese quiz tomorrow so I'm also studying for that (maybe listening to Chinese music isn't the best thing while studying Japanese but oh well.)
I didn't go to Magic Club today :( I wanted too, but I also wanted to eat lunch with my other friend too, so I ended up going with her too eat. Uhm... let me go study some more before I post this entry, then I'll get back to writing it.

In addition to them playing alot of Mandarin, they're also playing Cantonese, which I don't like as much. ... I think they also play some Thai, but I haven't heard that yet. I know the difference between Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to know if something was in Thai, because I don't know a single word of that at all. I want to listen to the all Mandarin Station but that costs a lot of money, and this one's free.

This entry is going to be public in case anyone comes by my journal and wants to post a reccomendation of a song that is Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or English. (I want some English music in my collection to! I can understand that fully >.<)

I also want some of YUI's music, but I 'm too lazy/ don't have enough time to go get it right now. XD

So now I'm listening to a song by FIR, and I don't really like this one too much... its Love*3 I think. :/ It's okay, but I don't think I'm really excited about it or anything.
